2020 年、新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大は世界中で人々の日常を一変させました。
不要不急の外出を控える生活が長引く中、スポーツ・文化・芸術などから得ていた刺激や感動がいかに大切なものであったかを感じておられる方が多いのではないでしょうか。
本展は、こんな時だからこそ、「ものづくりの国　日本」で手仕事を作り続ける伝統工芸の作家 8 名による精緻な作品をお楽しみいただきたいと思い、企画致しました。
旧三井家下鴨別邸の美しい庭園と建物の中で、匠の技によって創り上げられた「逸品」をご覧いただくひとときが、皆様の心を和ませ勇気と希望を与えてくれますように。　
In 2020, the spread of the new coronavirus infection changed people's daily lives around the world.
Many people may feel now how important the excitements they have gained from sports, culture, and art was, as their lives of going out or getting together have been strictly limited for over a year.
In this unprecedented situation, this exhibition was planned with the hope that you will enjoy the “treasures” created by the WANOBI’s eight traditional artists/artisans.
We believe that the beautiful gardens and buildings of the Old Mitsui Family’s Shimogamo Villa will also soothe your heart and give you courage.
